Fruit

Several different types of banana are eaten in Brazil - this variety is called 'Banana nanica'
(Tiny banana).

Guaraná
The seeds of Paullinea cupana , with their high caffeine content, are used to make the Brazilian national soft drink, 'Guaraná' .
Mango
Typically, mango trees, Mangifera indica, range from 30-100 feet in height, and can still produce fruit after 300 years.
The papaya, Carica papaya, is strictly not a tree but a large herb, and the fruit, when hard and green, is rich in white latex.
